Tea varieties are as diverse as body types, and correctly paired the two will create homeostasis in the body, avoiding overly high acid pH related illness.  We have 30 types of organic tea and tea blends.

Green Tea: Prevent & Heal

Green tea is unfermented, retaining organic substances containing polyphenols, catechin, chlorophyll, caffeine, amino acids, vitamins, and other nutrients. These natural green tea compounds have been proven to diminish effects of aging, cancerous cells, and inflammation. From a traditional medicine perspective, green tea reduces internal heat that is often associated with inflamation illness.

White Tea: Liver Protection

White tea is lightly fermented and considered a treasured Chinese tea. After harvest, white tea is dried slowly by fire, with minimal further processing. White tea, rich in flavonoids and probiotics, protects the liver and reduces damage to the liver rapidly. White tea is also known to reduce fatigue, lung, and digestive disorders.

Yellow Tea: For Everyone

Yellow tea belongs to the lightly fermented tea group. This thick refreshing infusion is yellow in leaf and brew. Yellow tea is put through the process of retting, producing digestive enzymes good for resolving indigestion and loss of appetite. The characteristics of yellow tea fall between cool green tea and warm black tea, producing a drink suitable for anyone.

Oolong Tea: For Weight Loss

Semi-fermented and only mildly processed, Oolong is an excellent quality tea. Oolong is known to reduce fat and cholesterol and has tannins which improve metabolism.

Black Tea: Warm the Stomach & Protect the Heart

Black tea (translated from Chinese Red Tea) goes through a fermentation process in which tea polyphenols are oxidized to condense. This process composes the colors and tastes associated with black teas. Theaflavins are the main functional component in black teas. Medical publications claim, drinking black tea helps to regulate cholesterol and reduce the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases. From a traditional Chinese medicine perspective, black tea is used to warm the stomach for those who always feel cold, a symptom linked to poor circulation.

Dark Tea (Pu’Er):  Prevent Cold & Reduce Fat

Fermentation of tea causes it to undergo complex chemical reactions from microorganisms, generating beneficial vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, and sugars. Pu’Er tea aids digestion and can improve intestinal health. Clinical experiments state, dark tea is formed by the microbial heap process, creating health benefits associated with controlling cholesterol, high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, and weight issues.

Tea not only quenches thirst but also improves physical and mental health over a lifetime.

China Green, Organic Loose-leaf Tea

China Green is traditional green tea in China grown on Huangliyang mountain outside Hangzhou, a beautiful tea-farm which has maintained traditional organic farming practices.  The dark green leaves of our organic China Green tea are twisted into thin coil spindles that unfurl, revealing full bodied tea buds with an awakening aroma.  The leaves steep into a vibrant green infusion with a buttery texture and lush leafy flavors.  This traditional green tea is both rich and smooth.  Great when served hot, iced, or cold brewed.

Dragon Well Tea, Organic​ Loose-leaf Tea

Dragon Well or "Lóngjǐng" tea has been recognized as one of the finest tea varieties since the Míng Dynasty. In the Qīng Dynasty it was made the official court tea by the Qiánlóng Emperor.  Our Dragon Well tea is grown on Fēngwù Mountain outside Hángzhōu, on a beautiful tea-farm owned and operated by a seventh-generation organic tea farming family.  The leaves are first carefully selected and picked by hand.  They are dried in bamboo baskets in the shade and then immediately sent to roasting to prevent oxidation.  The processing of Dragon Well tea is more complex than other green teas, involving a succession of roasts.  It will be repeatedly roasted, cooled and moistened, and inspected by the tea master until the desired taste, aroma, and appearance have been achieved.  When produced using traditional hand roasting techniques a series of up to a dozen specific movements and gestures are used to pan fry and shape the leaves.

Gun Powder Green, Organic​ Loose-leaf Tea 

Our Gunpowder tea originates from Pingshui in Zhejiang province China.  It is grown close its it birthplace, Huangliyang Mountain outside Hangzhou, a beautiful tea-farm owned by a seventh-generation organic tea farming family.  The leaves of our organic Gunpowder Green tea are withered, steamed, curled and rolled, and finally dried.  Gunpowder tea leaves hold their freshness longer than other green teas due to their compressed form.  Gunpowder green tea is a bold green tea with a slightly smoky taste that gives rise to its name and smooth finish.  Gunpowder green is typically higher in caffeine than most other green teas and is commonly used by some athletes to improve endurance.

Premium Black Tea, Organic ​Loose-leaf Tea

Our Premium Black Tea is made from the highest quality leaves from the summer and fall harvests.  It is a traditional Chinese tea made from the Camelia Sinensis plant. The tea is cultivated on a beautiful organic tea farm on Shaojia mountain, outside Hangzhou.  The tea takes on the black color after processing through withering, rolling, fermenting, and drying the leaves.  When brewed it becomes a deep red.  Although in the West the tea is called “black tea” in China it is called “Hóngchá” or red tea.  The tea leaves of our organic black have both full form and rolled appearance.  The dry leaves give off a slightly fruity aroma of raisins which when brewed to becomes a beautiful dark red liquor with a full, rich body and complex flavor that has notes of nuts and herbs with a natural sweetness and smooth finish.

Organic Dark Roasted Oolong

Oolong tea is a variety of semi-fermented tea made through a complex five-step process that includes withering, fermenting, and rolling the leaves of which the fermentation process is the most important.  The degree of oxidization of the leaves will change the flavor profile of the oolong, with lightly fermented teas being akin to a very robust green tea while dark roasted oolongs will be closer to a mellow, but complex flavored black tea.

Oolong teas as a category vary greatly based on the specific tea cultivar and the tea roaster's objectives with each roast.  While the tastes of different oolongs will each be unique, the healthful properties range with the degree of fermentation, with light roasts oolong teas being closer to unfermented green teas and dark roasts closer to fully fermented black teas. 

Our dark roasted Oolong tea has large, wiry tea leaves that produce an amber cup of tea with a warm, but subtle earthy tones, and floral aroma.  The flavor comes across first as nutty but as the leaves steep additional fruity and floral notes emerge.  This dark roasted oolong has a silky finish and a slightly floral aftertaste.

Summer Beauty, Organic Loose-leaf Herbal Tea Blend 

Summer Beauty is a house blend of bold rooibos mixed with peppermint and tart hibiscus petals.  The base of our Summer Beauty Blend is Rooibos or red bush tea (Aspalathus linearis).  It is combined with dried leaves of hibiscus and peppermint.  Rooibos comes from the mountains in the west of South Africa’s Cape Province. It has been a popular herbal tea for generations in South Africa.  It gains its deep color through fermentation.  Rooibos tea is naturally caffeine free. Scientific studies of Rooibos have found numerous health benefits.    

Upon opening the dried blend your senses are immediately awakened by the aroma of peppermint, but when brewed the blends of flavor mellow to offer a floral, fruity flavor with a silky texture and a palette cleansing minty finish.  Summer Beauty is a treat for your taste buds and. This herbal blend has a deep rosy color and bold fragrance, it can be served hot or iced.

Organic Yummy Tummy Herbal Tea Blend

Tasting Notes:

Our Lemongrass Spice tea (also known as “Yummy Tummy”) is a house blend of organic lemon grass, organic cinnamon, and awakening organic peppermint combined with our organic black tea fannings to create a bold, flavorful, combination that tastes great and helps with digestion.  It brews into a deep amber liquor with a bold lemongrass and cinnamon fragrance.  The taste is crisp and zesty, the finish is smooth, clean and minty.  It tastes great with or without sweeteners.  For an extra kick of spice, we recommend adding a pinch of freshly ground ginger before steeping.


Health benefits:  This lemongrass peppermint blend reduces digestive pain and irritation, cleanses the body, relieves constipation, nausea, and diarrhea.
